The Adam and Eve story, in my opinion, is about the Female perceiving the State where one realizes the difference between being in a Game and being the Gamer and shares that knowing with Adam/First Conscious Man, possibly with Soma(<click) and ritual which vibrates the Pineal Gland(<click), or the Apple of Mine Eye. And because women could/can do this they were hung as Witches.  The Pineal Gland is referred to as The Eye of Horus and resembles a pinecone/pineapple which is why you will see them in the Vatican.  The male and female were no longer able to vibrate with the blissful ignorance of the Garden of Eden or pure instinct of the animal instinct or lower chakras.  One "dies" to the ego of the lower chakras and arises to the higher chakras.
